For Businesses

The most powerful approach to advance sustainability is education – but not simply more of the same. We need to be sure the next generation has the intellectual tools necessary to make appropriate and critical decisions in the real world. Business and industry can play an important role in making this happen by recognizing the value of sustainability education and getting actively involved.

CELF programs educate students and teachers to understand the connections between environmental stewardship, fair and just treatment of people, and economic growth. If your business is committed to sustainability, we probably have common interests.

We welcome your support through the donation of your time, expertise, and resources to our various programs. We invite your partnership and/or sponsorship inquiries. Through participation in the following CELF programs, you help educate tomorrow’s workforce and consumers, while gaining exposure and brand awareness.

“It was an honor to be a part of the EXPO. I’ve spent the last 30 years trying to get people to listen about sustainability. The interest expressed by the students here was truly heartwarming.”

“It was great getting a chance to show off our expertise for the day to so many people. As a presenter I felt like I made a real connection with the students visiting, because I understood how to make the information truly interesting to them. And it was great hearing from teachers and other adults that I was helping them learn a lot more about my topic.”

“Getting kids motivated about the environment ripples far beyond them. It means they will discuss it with their friends, and also with their parents. That’s how you get real and sustainable change, when you have children teaching adults.”
