For Students

Is your education preparing you to be a creative problem solver and good planetary citizen? Are you interested in learning how to create real solutions to real problems?

CELF works with students, teachers, schools and districts to provide programs ranging from professional development for educators to seminars and programs for students and the community. For sustainability education to succeed it must reach beyond one student, one classroom, one teacher. We must all become agents for change!

How can you get involved?

“Our first year we came on a class field trip (to the EXPO) and we couldn’t wait to come back this year to be exhibitors. It was great showing off our student energy audit and what changes we proposed. And it was very cool to be exhibiting beside the energy experts that actually did the work in our district.”

Student as Expert

“It was great getting a chance to show off our expertise for the day to so many people. As a presenter I felt like I made a real connection with the students visiting, because I understood how to make the information truly interesting to them. And it was great hearing from teachers and other adults that I was helping them learn a lot more about my topic.”

“Congratulations on another great event! It (the EXPO) was so well organized and interesting. My students were really excited about it.”
